AZ HISTORY 2
One of the most important and difficult tasks facing the historian of the south west is to remove the mysterious or mythical aspects from the history of the area - to sepperate fact from fiction and to indicate which is which. The literature of Arizona is full of legends and fairy tales of lost mines and buried treasure. Many are pure fiction, but some are based on historic fact. An unfortunate aspect of these legends is the fact that many people who can not tell fact from fancy have dug for the "treasure" around or in old buildings, thus hastening the complete disappearance of structures of historical importance. It is the mission of our group to prevent this from happening by way of education and preservation.

Columbia Mine 1887
Contention Mine 1901
Crowned King mine 1892
We recently filmed some video inside the Angel mine in the same area as mentioned above, just outside of the town of Stanton Az. The mine had some paranormal activity. Several men were said to have died in this mine as a result of cave in. I believe these spirits too be inhabiting the mine.
Lost Nugget Mine 1897
Big Bug Mine 1931
